Because for i have learn, whatever we think about and thank about, we bring about!
i went to pick up some goodies at MAC and The Body Shop...
1) just as i took my first step out of my block lift...someone made my day! XD
and i posted on my FB, "that was a good start!" ...
2) while shopping, i received a call for a job! the best thing is, my friend also got the call!
and i posted again saying, "that was ANOTHER good start! XD "
and...its so miraculous...we both were searching for jobs like mad...actually i wasn't even seriously looking for one...i swear upon god, in this whole month i only flipped the newspapers TWICE! i was more than happy to rot at home and still get my allowance from dad! :PP
its not like i NEED a job...but i want it, because i WANT the money...and its not like my parents are depending on me for a job...
hahaha...why i say, miraculous is because, i dunno...the feeling of getting something you want just like that...without actually putting in so much of effort...its like instead of trying to search for one, all i did was, sit down and mourn "need a job...need a job...must find one!" thats what i do the whole day, more than literally putting in the effort to find one...
well i did put in effort in the beginning...then i kinda gave up, when everyone needed someone who knew chinese!! and everything i read, says "able to handle chinese clients" >:O so i was like, forget it lah! but i mean...who gets the opp to slack at home for a whole month...actually its been 2 months since im at home DOING NOTHING...except for going out with friends...laze around...watch tv...go out some more...sleep anytime i want...and still get my allowance every week :PP
but i just want more money for shopping...and my mum refuses to withdraw money from my own account! The 10K i worked for 5 months...ok lesser lah, since i did spend some...she refused lah! she said, i know its your money...but no, keep that for your uni... -.-" and i don't hold my card...which IS A GOOD THING! i say it myself, ITS GOOD that she doesn't give me my posb card! and i never once asked her for it...because i know myself :)
and NTU wanted me back...my ex boss called me back, 2K per month and no CPF contributions...who wouldn't go? well i wouldn't...though some of my friends have been wanting to take over my place for the salary! lol well its a really good pay! but like i said, im not working for the money...as in, well i am...but more than money i must ENJOY the job! i SURVIVED in that job alone for 5 months...so i'm done with that! and this good friend of mine, who was really serious about finding one...introduced me to this job, we both sent in our resume and WE BOTH got the job...and no interviews, direct admission...lol! *two thumbs up* and in this job, i got my friend WITH me...so even if the job is sucky, i got a friend to whine with! :PP
so ya...funny because i never thought i was ever gonna work again because though, we were really desperate for a job...but I! didn't really tried finding one...because i already saw myself rotting at home...lol...and my friend showed me a website, asked me to send my resume too and i just did for the sake of it because i did send one before...but no response...so i was thinking this was gonna be another 'nothing' thingy...i mean, i really thought they were not gonna entertain us...or, maybe the vacancies were already taken up!
and wow, within less than half a day! we sent in our resume, yesterday evening...and today morning around 11 am we got the call! pretty impressive...lol! super excited to work with her :))
and yea, here are the stuff i got:

Because i realised my Sephora stippling brush WHICH IS NOT FOR LIQUIDS/CREAMS kinda streaks! Though i knew that before i bought it...but i thought, ah stippling all the same! and its way cheaper...so even when the lady told me, its for Mineral foundations/powders or used for highlighting and not for fluids...i still bought it...and it streaks on me! or is it just me...lol! but i really did see streak marks on my face...but its really good for powders though! have tried it for highlighting and blusher...
ok, i'm really crazy over skin care now...like really! i never was into skin care this much...

The whole thing came to $100.80 AFTER some discounts, including my membership discount...initally it was $134!
oh and they gave me 2 samples of the Tea Tree oil! >.< useful...because i've got my 'time of the month' pimples...

i love my Superman belt...well its not even mine actually! its Arvin's :PP but still love it!

oh! oh! and he got me this bag...i was like complaining, "woah you earning in army now, never buy me a single thing sia..." and he was like, " -.- what you want?" and at that moment we were in Cotton On after our HP movie, he was getting some clothes for himself...and i've been eyeing on (well i practically eye on everything right!? LOL!) yea, this bag...they sell at Cotton On where u get it at 10 bucks instead of 20 if you purchase smthg there...and since arvin was getting his clothes, i just pointed out to the bags and said, "ok nah give you discount, just buy me this!" lol...and he chose this design for me...He finally got me smthg! -.-" waahaaa! XD

eyes were super simple...i wanted to try out my SilkyGirl funky liner...and since i was wearing a blue jeans skirt...i applied my Sky blue, top and bottom and a thin black liner just to the top...no mascara...i never use mascara when i wear specs!

i was chatting with one of my friend Raj, whom i met in the Heritage Fest recently...and during the Fest, i offered the crew some biscuits...this particular biscuit in fact, which i LOVE! and he was totally in love with it...because he kept asking me what brand...and asked if it was Marks & Spencers....i was like, "whaaat!? no! its just a dollar at some mama shop!" he got shocked...but i could see he liked it a lot...he told me to let him know the brand and all.. so when i saw this biscuit today, at a shop i got reminded of him...bought it, took a pic and tagged him! of course, i ate it later lah...can't resist! and he commented, your nails are distracting me!
lol...he thought, i got it professionally done! well nobody kinda believed when i said, i did them myself...even for the Leopard prints.. lol lol...i don't mean to brag...but seriously those 2 designs i did, was the very first i tried them out...i never tried on anybody else before...i saw some tutorials on YouTube, tried on myself first and at one try, both (thankfully) came out almost perfect! so yea, happy with myself :)

Today was an EXTRA good day :))
