its exactly 12 midnight now...so hello Friday! and i had to do this post today, now! i wanted to do it tomorrow, no actually later (since its already Friday) in the morning, but...i just can't resist!!! XD

and since i'm not sleepy and that, i can be a nocturnal creature and sleep in the morning to afternoon or even evening...which i have been doing most of the time! lol...and i also, cannot control my excitement...so just felt like posting this now lor!

firstly i want to show this, which i created today morning, actually yesterday morning...due to sheer boredom!!!



but i drew it only on my left thumb...because of course, i'm not gonna remove my tiger stripes that fast! its not even a week...i did them only on Monday...i keep my designs on for 1 week...and every Monday i create a new one...

another thing is, its almost impossible to do such a design on every nail...for that, your nails have to be super long...because a large surface area is needed to draw such patterns...i don't have very long nails so my thumb was the best i have...lol

and today my fingers were extra itchy...i almost wanted to remove all my tiger stripes but.. sayang lah! D: ...so i thought, ok lets just experiment on my thumb alone...so i went to YT and saw some nails designs...and currently, i am particularly interested in palm trees...saw many different palm tree designs...but i like this one a lot! so wanted to see if i could do it...

and before i created this whole thing.. i felt that this time, i should take pictures of the process, of how i did it...so if you guys wanna try, hope this might be of some help...

so here is how i created this nail design!


For the sunset... Paint half ur nail a dark orange or even a red will do...this looks red, but its actually a very bright dark orange (wait, did i just contradict myself? bright-dark!! LOL) just any reddish orange lah k!
































followed by a regular orange...preferably a darker one, or something that looks nothing (ok, now i just rhymed! :P) like the previous colour...paint remaining half of the nail...but also, overlap the red a little...we are creating Gradient here!

































and then the yellow...go over the orange portion but don't totally cover the orange...and then a second coat of yellow slighty below the first coat...(if that made any sense!!?)




















ok i suck at explaining! but u do see the gradient right...dark to light...





















you might need to touch up on the previous red and orange...so do all ur touching ups! the thing is...all the 3 colours must seem as if its fading, from dark to light...its ok if its not perfect...it need not be exact, because the blue later on will cover half the nail...








then add a blue, for the sea...paint it over the yellow, but let some yellow peek through above and leave some yellow at the very corner...cos that can be the sand for the palm tree!































then get any thin brush, with a white nail polish and create the water waves...simple, just scribble some short lines over the blue!































so it should look like that...and this really gives the 3D effect...

































then get a black...use the brush to draw ur palm tree...






























ok, this part im not gonna lie! this design took me 2 trys...because right after the picture above...i tried to add in the leaves...which i screwed up! so i ended up removing the whole thing and re doing them! i dunno, maybe because my brush isn't thin enough because i couldn't get very thin stokes from it, for the leaves...or maybe, i don't know how to use the brush and i need more practice...?

whatever it is...i tried again...and i finally got it!

second good news :P

i was smsing Bhavani my dance friend, that i got a job very near to her work place...so i was telling, we can meet up on Fridays and go dance class together...and she was like, these were her exact words..."WHHAAATTT?? DEIII! i'm also working there!!!" and i replied "!!!!???? OMG"

hahahhaa...i never knew where exactly or what shes working as...all i knew is, where she was working...and when i told her where i got my job, she was like, dei im there too! lol...what a freaking coincidence!! but i guess im not her department though...but def can see her around a lot...lol! waaaa, another known-friend there! woohooooo! :DD


Thirdly,

i just came back from a tamil movie like 2 hours ago...and those who have yet to watch Kaanchana(Muni part 2) pls pls pls go catch it!!!!!!!!!!!! its...i dunno what to say, too good! LOVED IT! its freaking scary & totally hilarious- perfect blend of horror and comedy! and awsome awsome story line...so DON'T hesitate to call me along to watch it...i want to again!!!!! XP
